The Best Film of 2009

Speaking as an expert on the films of 2009 (I saw one film 11 times, and another film once), I can tell you with confidence that the absolute  BEST FILM of the year was not nominated for an Academy Award. This film, directed by Chris Weitz, based on a novel by Stephanie Meyer and adapted for the screen by Melissa Rosenberg, is NEW MOON (if you saw it as a bit torrent download, you may know it as LUNA NUEVA).

I’m serious, Man. It was a beautiful film. So was the first one, but bluer. Best actress? The subtle Kristen Stewart as Bella. By the way, few agree with me, but I am sure the author of the Twilight books, Stephanie Meyers, must have named this character after BELLA LUGOSI.

The wolf makes me think of those wolves in Alaska that ate that poor girl. Still, I wonder if overall (excluding the case where they ate that poor girl, and the onewhere they ate the guy in Canada) they get a bad rap, distracting us from the Tea Partiers and such?
