That was my mother I miss her so much I wish I could have helped her but it had to end this way. It was too short for me. I was only 8 or 9 when she died. I just-just wish I could meet her today.

ever since I was little, when I’m alone with my cat, I whisper in their ears: “I know you can talk. You can talk in front of me. I won’t tell anyone”. I did it yesterday to Willie. I wouldn’t be that surprised if he finally just started talking.

Your book sounds intruiging, disturbing and wonderful.Did you ever read Bolanos’ book 2666? That was an exhausting nightmare about the murders and much more.

What I would give to be a student in your class! I own all of your books/comix, and they have healed me and meant more to me than you could ever know. I want to profoundly thank you for the work you have done for yourself and for others suffering such things.I grew up in a suburb of S.F. in the same era and also went through very similar things. Question: Does your mother speak to you now? If so, has she seen your books? What sweet revenge it must be to show them themselves, although I’m sure they deny it all.You have done so much good for the girls/women in our world, you are chosen by the gods to express what others can’t through your talent as a writer and an artist. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!

Encontré en la biblioteca publica del barrio de arteagabeitia en barakaldo
A Child’s Life, ultimamente no paro de leer comics me dio por ahi,tengo 38 años, y he leido de todo asi que supongo que si no hay mas que una vida ahora me tocaba leer comics. De camino a casa, una amiga me comentaba que ella habia leido comics del que hace el prologo Crumb, y que era muy bueno, asi que tu debias ser muy buena. Yo con ese nombre pensé que eras un hombre y con ese apellido alemán.Luego descubrí en casa, que eras una mujer americana. Que deducciones mas erroneas nos inventamos a partir de como suena un nombre. Bueno me parecio increible el relato,muy duro, como se puede vivir eso, sin ser una asesina de hombres.
Yo mientras lo leia queria apuñalar al padre. Es un magnifico trabajo yo solo con leer no me dan ganas de hacer cosas semejantes, y el Crumb un cerdo. Vaya si que me ha gustado si, es increible.
Por eso escribo esto para agradecer haberte encontrado, y poder disfrutar de tu trabajo, esto si que es trascender lo vivido y crear arte, donde luego cada uno interpreta a su manera, y empece a hablar contigo. Gracias a este cuadrado de texto igual llega mi gratitud en este mensaje.
En la biblioteca encontre tambien The Diary of a Teenage Girl, lo estoy disfrutando, intrigada y emocionada. Ya soy una fan mas asi que no poda hacer otra cosa esta tarde de sol que tratar de decirselo a alguien y que mejor que al autor. Por eso busque tu blog.
